Liverpool like Noa Lang and could see the player have a bargain price-tag in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
This comes from CalcioMercato. They claimed back in October that Liverpool were looking at a transfer for Noa Lang. The 22-year-old shine for Club Brugge in Belgium but there was one real hang up – his asking price.
Brugge wanted £21m for the winger, a steep price for someone outside of Europe’s top leagues. No one went on to pay it and Lang remains with the club despite further interest from the likes of AC Milan.
But the outlet now reports that two new signings at Brugge appear set to drop Lang’s asking price quite significantly. They mention a potential bargain for Milan and, presumably, Liverpool.
Liverpool could move for Noa Lang
It all makes sense. Lang is a hot prospect in Dutch football, having forced his way into Louis van Gaal’s plans with the national team. In fact, Van Gaal said back in October that Lang was a ‘very creative’ player and one who the Netherlands could rely on against packed defences.

The 22-year-old’s stats back that up. He’s got 11 assists and six goals 21 starts this season, with a lot of them coming with wonderful consistency.
Lang had a six-game spell in November that saw him either score or assist in every game. He finished that run with three goals and five assists, showcasing how he’s not a player who boosts his numbers with the odd spectacular game. Instead, Lang threatens pretty much every time he’s on the pitch for Brugge.
And at 22, there’s great potential here. We wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Liverpool get involved if his asking price truly is dropping – Lang could be a fantastic project for Jurgen Klopp and co. to develop.
