Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Roberto Firmino is back in full training and ready to go. Liverpool are about to move up another level.

“Bobby is back in full training,” said Jurgen Klopp on Wednesday, per Liverpoolfc.com. Roberto Firmino, who hasn’t played since facing Atletico Madrid on November 3rd, is training once again in a great boost to Liverpool.

In fact, this should be a return that moves the team up another level – quite something for a side in such great form.

Liverpool’s form since Firmino’s injury has been quite spectacular. Well, other than the only defeat of the season in the very first game after he was out.

The Reds have won literally every game since, usually by a large scoreline. Their attack has been in phenomenal form, in particular – six goals for Mohamed Salah, four goals for Diogo Jota, and one for Sadio Mane. That perhaps doesn’t do them all justice, however.

The three of them are running riot, creating chances, crippling defences and leading Liverpool to impressive wins. And that’s while Klopp has one man down up top.

The team will welcome Firmino back into the fold, however, adding another world-class forward to this attack and one who’s been in great form this season. The Brazilian only has five starts to his name but still boasts six goals across those and his substitute appearances.

Firmino grabbed a hattrick and an assist in the 5-0 demolition of Watford and was remarkable even without a direct goal contribution at Manchester United. Liverpool can use him to tear teams apart – there’s no question about that.

In fact, Firmino offers the team a different way of playing to Jota as the centre-forward. He links play more effectively while lessening the direct goal threat himself. Even just offering a change of playing style makes Liverpool more dangerous.

Add in the simple bonus that Liverpool have more squad depth up top and the Reds do look more dangerous. Premier League beware.
