Liverpool are looking into a transfer for Everton target Daniel Jebbison, according to reports. The 18-year-old set a Premier League record last season.
This comes from Team Talk. They claim that Liverpool have eyes on Daniel Jebbison – but they’re not alone in that.
Brighton and West Ham United both like the look of the striker. As do Everton, who reportedly bid for Jebbison in the summer.
The Athletic claims there was a £5m offer on the table but Sheffield United said no. Instead, they loaned him out to Burton Athletic.
It’s a loan deal that has worked to an extent. Jebbison has six goals this season – a decent figure from an 18-year-old playing his first full season.
There’s room for January movement, per that Team Talk report. The Blades can recall Jebbison from Burton next month, allowing them to either use him or sell him.
Liverpool rival Everton for Daniel Jebbison
Jebbison made some Premier League history last season against Everton. He scored on his first start for Sheffield United, making him the youngest player to score on his full debut in the Premier League.
It’s a fairly obscure record but still a sign of how promising Jebbison is. He’s a tall, physical young striker who seems to have a natural eye for goal.

And why wouldn’t Liverpool want that? They already have the best 18-year-old in the country in Harvey Elliott and Kaide Gordon could well be the best 17-year-old.
Adding another very talented teenager would only bolster the Reds’ future. While it’s unlikely that all become stars, Liverpool would give themselves a great chance that at least two or three of their promising youngsters do fulfil their potential.
We’d like to see Jebbison arrive, then. The next generation at Liverpool already looks good – maybe it can look even better with a transfer like this.
