Liverpool target Dusan Vlahovic was scouted in person on Sunday, as the Reds sent representatives to watch him play against Juventus.
This comes from Calciomercato, who claims that Liverpool, Spurs, Manchester United and Newcastle United all had scouts in attendance as Fiorentina suffered a 1-0 defeat to Juventus.
According to WhoScored, Vlahovic had a sub-par performance as he had just two shots on goal, 31 touches, placed just seven accurate passes and was dispossessed three times. He was given a 6.17 rating.

He was in much better form in the previous game as he scored a hattrick versus Spezia, earning a 10/10 score from WhoScored, and it was based on that display that I could understand Liverpool signing the Serbian.
Jurgen Klopp does not have a no.9 that has predatory instincts like Vlahovic and, while Divock Origi was good in his cameo against West Ham, scoring the second goal for Liverpool, he isn’t quite at the level of the Fiorentina forward.
The 21-year-old could be a genuine spearhead for the Reds’ attack in a way that even Mohamed Salah couldn’t. That’s not to say that the Egyptian isn’t the better player or the more prolific forward.
But Vlahovic, as a 6ft2 centre forward, would provide a genuine target for Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson to aim for. Despite his frame, his movement is excellent.

Calciomercato states that Spurs are the most likely to make a move, with the recent appointment of Antonio Conte. But if they or Liverpool want to sign him it will require at least €60 million (£51.2m).
