Jurgen Klopp is the best manager in the Premier League and his excellence is something that Chelsea cannot replicate.
Don’t get me wrong. Thomas Tuchel is a fantastic coach and he is clearly doing a terrific job with Chelsea, but Klopp’s achievements with the Reds make him the best manager in the Premier League.
Not even Pep Guardiola could have achieved what Klopp has with the limited transfer funds he has had access to compared to the spending of Chelsea and Manchester City.

Ian Wright believes Chelsea are the best placed side to win the Premier League this season, telling David Seaman’s ‘Seaman Says‘ podcast: “At the start of the season I said Chelsea and I still fancy Chelsea, although they’ve got injuries now to Lukaku and Werner.
“People say that Werner doesn’t score enough, but the fact is that Werner gives Chelsea so much and then Lukaku scores the goals.
“I still fancy Chelsea, but Liverpool are now getting themselves into a run of form that you’re going to find very difficult for them. They’ll just slip back into that form that they did when they dominated.
“It’s going to be City, Liverpool and Chelsea for me and I’m not sure with the fourth. I don’t know who are going to be finishing fourth at the minute. I’d love West Ham to stay there.”

Chelsea are definitely the favourites to win the Premier League title but, after Klopp managed to drag Liverpool to a third-place finish without the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez or Joel Matip (while Jordan Henderson and Fabinho also battled with injuries) I firmly believe he can take a fully fit Liverpool squad to the title.
If the Reds can keep their squad fit, which is proving tricky right now, it is difficult for me to imagine Chelsea beating Liverpool to the title.
Manchester City should not be discounted either, but they don’t seem to have that edge which made them so terrifying in previous seasons, underlined by Crystal Palace’s win at the Etihad on Saturday.
