Some Leeds United fans want a big price for Raphinha after Liverpool’s interest came to light. The Brazilian is making his stock rise rapidly.
Deco, Raphinha’s agent, confirmed on Thursday that Liverpool are after the player. The Reds supposedly made some enquiries during the summer.
“Raphinha has become an important player in the Premier League,” said Deco, per Globo Esporte. “The club knows he has grown and things will happen naturally. He’s young, he has many challenges ahead.
“There are certainly several clubs that like him, and Liverpool do like him, there were enquiries but nothing official.
“Leeds wanted to keep him for another season.”
This really shouldn’t surprise anyone. Raphinha is in wonderful form for both Leeds United and Brazil – he caught the eye this week with two assists against Venezuela.
Liverpool have long shown a desire for up-and-coming Premier League talents, too. Raphinha could join a list including Sadio Mane, Gini Wijnaldum and Virgil van Dijk as someone who made the step up to the Reds.
But there’s a long way to go here. Firstly, Liverpool would need to convince Leeds to sell – that won’t be easy. They’ll almost certainly want a fortune for the Brazilain.
At least, that’s what their fans think.
Leeds fans want high price for Raphinha
Raphinha > Grealish

So I agree that he’s should go for £100m, especially if it’s to another team in the league like Liverpool.
Liverpool don't have the money for Raphinha. PSG might

I didn't say we were desparate but there's a difference here. We will be talking about a £70m+ fee and Raphinha will want to move onto the UCL because only teams with loads of money play in it.

Fab let me tell you how this goes, when we sell him it will be on our terms and you won’t get any change from £100 million so the Scousers won’t be able to afford him

Can’t see Liverpool spending the 80 million required tbh unless they sell .

We can’t really argue with some of the prices mentioned. Raphinha is on fire right now and looks like a potential superstar.
You’re getting a winger who can win tackles, dominate the wing, consistently create chances and chip in with goals. Those players don’t come cheap.
There’s also a sense that Raphinha is moving into his prime. He’s 24 and what we’re seeing now might only be a taste of what’s the come over the next few years.

If that’s the case, £70m could end up being a bit of a bargain. We’re not sure £100m would be – but you never know.
The comparisons with Jack Grealish to Manchester City are obvious but we’re not sure the price will rise quite that high. Grealish is English and his Homegrown status adds quite significantly to his value.
Raphinha doesn’t have that, obviously, so a £100m price tag might be a bit much.
What is for sure, though, is that Leeds will want a lot of cash to part with their star. Liverpool have paid similar before for the right player – the question now is if Raphinha fits the bill.
