The UEFA Youth League is a fascinating competition which showcases the brightest talents from throughout Europe.
Teams are drawn into the same group as their senior side, as a result the Liverpool U19s will be taking on youth sides from Milan, Porto and Atletico Madrid.
The young Reds got their campaign off to a flier with a 1-0 win over Milan recently.
Max Woltman scored the only goal of the game and heroics from Harvey Davies in goal maintained the lead.
This week Liverpool U19s took on Porto in a tightly contested affair.
Diogo Abreu opened the scoring in the second half for the hosts with a low drive from distance.
Ten minutes from time Melkamu Frauendorf equalised following a fine pass from Tyler Morton.

The U19s’ captain was in exceptional form on Tuesday afternoon.
Tyler Morton was a massive presence against Porto and his impact showed with 10 minutes remaining.
The lad from over the water lofted a ball over the opposition defence, weighted perfectly for the onrushing Melkamu Frauendorf.
The Germany youth international finished with aplomb to level things.
