Liverpool have had some legendary goal scorers down the years but few are in the same conversation as Mo Salah. The Egyptian King has been a dominant force for the Reds since his arrival from Roma. Manchester United icon Rio Ferdinand believes Mo Salah should get more attention.

Record breaker Mo Salah
When we signed Mo Salah from Roma in 2017 some Kopites were somewhat skeptical.
The Egyptian had failed to make an impact at Chelsea, maybe the Premier League is too tough for him?
He proved his doubters wrong immediately. In his debut season for the Reds he broke the record for goals in a 38 game Premier League season, netting 32.
Last weekend he scored his 100th league goal for Liverpool, reaching the milestone in just 151 games, one fewer than Roger Hunt.

Rio Ferdinand on Mo Salah
The Egyptian King has earned plaudits from all corners.
Though, some believe he isn’t getting enough plaudits.
Rio Ferdinand has said that Mo Salah deserves more attention for his incredible goal scoring feats. The Manchester United icon told his YouTube channel:
“We need to do a whole segment on Salah not getting the attention, the time, the talk, the focus which he deserves.
“Go and watch Salah and what he does. He dominates and destroys top level players on a regular basis. He makes the game look easy, he makes football look easy.”
What RTK has to say
We couldn’t agree more.
The way the media drooled over Eden Hazard et al in comparison to Mo Salah is utterly ridiculous.
It’s almost as if he’s become a victim of his own brilliance.
He is so incredibly consistent that when he breaks yet another record it’s just another weekend.
Maybe Mo Salah will only get the appreciation he deserves when he retires and we say that nobody else can get close to his crazy numbers.
