Liverpool have had some goal scorers down the years. The first goal scorer I saw the Kop fall in love with was Fernando Torres. There have been better before and since. Our current main supply of goals hit a landmark achievement at the weekend. Liverpool fans have responded to the agent of Mo Salah on Twitter.

Record breaking Mo Salah
He just keeps doing it. Time and time again Mo Salah breaks records.
The Egyptian King joined us from Roma in 2017 and every season since he’s found a new milestone to reach, another record to smash.
In his debut season for the Reds he netted the most goals ever in a 38 game Premier League season.
Since then his accolades have piled up, this term he became the first player to score on five consecutive opening days in the Premier League.
Against Brentford at the weekend he scored his 100th Liverpool league goal in 151 games, hitting the landmark one game earlier than Roger Hunt
Mo Salah contract and agent
Over the summer the Reds worked hard to tie down a number of first team stars to long term contracts.
The Reds secured Alisson until 2027. Meanwhile, Andy Robertson and Fabinho penned until 2026.
In addition, Nat Phillips, Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold committed to 2025.
Mo Salah is yet to sign a new contract and his agent isn’t one to shy away from the issue on Twitter.
On the opening day the Egyptian King grabbed two assists and a goal and his agent Ramy Abbas Issa tweeted ‘I hope they’re watching’ – a pretty direct jab at the Reds’ ownership.
Liverpool fans tweet Ramy Abbas Issa
This weekend the agent simply and defiantly tweeted ‘yep’ after Salah notched his 100th league goal for the club. A tweet which implies, ‘yep, we know he’s brilliant, so why is his contract taking so long?’
