Who ever said supporting Liverpool would be easy? The Reds do put us through the wringer now and then and this evening was definitely one of those occasions. Liverpool fell to a late draw against Brentford. Here are our three best Liverpool players v Brentford (we conceded three, the attackers dominate):

Diogo Jota
The Portugal forward, signed for £41m, was anonymous for large portions of the game but like any good striker he came up with the goods when we needed him.
Diogo Jota continued his astounding record of being about 5ft1in tall yet still scoring headers all the time.
What is that about? The dude is diddy yet he is always in the right place at the right time to nod one home.
He’s a natural goal scorer and his opener was much needed.
Mo Salah
100 league goals for Liverpool, the Egyptian King is just a legend of the club.
Although he missed a chance to put the game beyond doubt late in the day he still put in a typical Salah performance: determined and deadly.
His work today was typical of his time with the Reds, he can disappear at times but he always scores.
Curtis Jones
The Scouser didn’t have the perfect game but we saw everything we wanted to see from the youngster.
He was dogged out of possession; in the first half he created a chance through his pressing.
Furthermore, he netted an absolute rocket. What else can you ask for? Ignore the deflection.
His winner could prove vital in a few months’ time.
