Liverpool have plenty of youngsters to be getting excited about. The Reds have been snapping up wonderkids from across the globe in recent windows and some of them are making strides into the first team. Joe Gomez has singled out Kaide Gordon for praise, saying the youngster has ‘no ceiling’.

Kaide Gordon debut v Norwich City
This week the Reds cruised to victory in the third round of the EFL Cup.
Takumi Minamino scored twice and Divock Origi once as Liverpool brushed Norwich City aside in a 3-0 win at Carrow Road.
Jürgen Klopp handed out debuts to three academy starlets, one being Kaide Gordon.
The 16-year-old started on the right wing and showed frequent flashes of quality throughout the game, cutting inside and firing narrowly wide in the first half he also found Origi in space in the second period.
For his age it was a terrific first impression, one which has fans excited.

It’s not just fans getting hyped about the wonderkid.
Joe Gomez has also been impressed with Kaide Gordon.
The England international liked what he saw during pre-season and since then, he told Goal:
“Every time he trains with us he applies himself properly. He does extra things that wouldn’t even have crossed my mind when I was his age. Hats off to him, and I’m sure he can go on to have a great career.
“The platform he has, there’s no ceiling to it.”

We can’t wait to see the teenager in action for the senior side again.
He won’t have to wait too long with the Reds facing Preston North End in late October in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.
We’ll be expecting the 16-year-old to be handed another start in the competition, he may impress further against Championship opposition.
