Report: Liverpool target Dusan Vlahovic value jumps after electric 2021

Dusan Vlahovic will see his value double by the end of the year, according to reports. Liverpool supposedly want the forward.

This come from Gazzetta Dello Sport. They say that Dusan Vlahovic will see his value rise to around £70m soon. And that’s quite literally the case – he’ll be the one seeing to that.

Because Vlahovic wants to make sure that’s his value. He’s in contract negotiations with Fiorentina and is after an €80m release clause. On top of that, the 21-year-old hopes to quadruple his wages.

It remains to be seen if La Viola will agree to that – but they’ll be tempted, certainly.

Vlahovic exploded last season or more specifically, he exploded in 2021. The Serbian had only two Serie A goals heading into December 2020 but finished the campaign with 21.

He’s kicked off this season with three goals in four Serie A games, too. While some were penalties, there’s no denying that the youngster can find the net at a fantastic rate.

And perhaps that interests Liverpool.

Dusa Vlahovic to jump in value

This could be quite a price-hike. The Telegraph had Vlahovic’s price at £40m not too long ago.

If he continues this form, though, £70m won’t see too ridiculous and elite clubs could convince themselves to pay it. Liverpool could be one of those clubs.

Tuttosport has linked them in the past. It’s easy to see how Vlahovic could fit in, too, seeing as Divock Origi is the only out-and-out striker in the senior squad. Adding a 21-year-old goal machine would certainly tick some boxes.

Expect Liverpool to keep an eye on Vlahovic, then. Another wonderful campaign will put him in very high demand but while some focus on Erling Haaland, there could be a chance to nab the Serbian.
