Caoimhin Kelleher – 10

The Irishman can’t be faulted at all, what a performance. Sweeper keeper, penalty saver.

Conor Bradley – 7.5

Let’s forget about the penalty and focus on the positives. He made some smart tackles and he was encouraging on the front foot, a solid debut.

Joe Gomez – 9

JoGo was utterly imperious, a reminder if we ever needed one that he is a world class centre back.

Ibrahima Konate – 9

The Frenchman was outstanding again, an utterly incredible defender.

Kostas Tsimikas – 8.5

The Greek international was solid and made good runs forward. His assist for Divock was sublime.

Naby Keita – 7

The Guinean was about, he put his foot in here and there but he didn’t do anything particularly eye catching.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 5

The Ox kept on losing the ball in the vital stages. We needed more from him tonight. Sure, he bagged an assist but Taki and Norwich’s defenders did most of the work.

Curtis Jones – 8

The Scouser was determined and effective throughout the game. A thoroughly exciting performance.

Kaide Gordon – 7.5

The teenager was so bright whenever he ran with the ball, he just didn’t see enough of it, we saw enough glimpses to get us excited.

Takumi Minamino – 10

The Japan international showed us what he’s about: right place, right time and lethal finishing. Well in Taki.

Divock Origi – 8.5

The Belgian forward got his goal and it was thoroughly deserved, what a header.
