Liverpool have a number of youngsters at the academy that fans should be getting excited about. One such player is the U23s’ right back who has already earned three international caps. Liverpool should reward Conor Bradley with a start in the EFL Cup this month.
Exciting academy starlets
In recent years we’ve seen a number of exciting youngsters signed by the Liverpool academy.
In the wake of the Reds’ European Cup win in Madrid Harvey Elliott joined along with Sepp van den Berg.
The former is now a first team regular having started back to back Premier League games, impressing against Chelsea and Burnley.
Since the Fulham graduate’s arrival the club has also signed Kaide Gordon.
Once dubbed ‘the best 16-year-old in the country’, the wonderkid is expected to make his first team debut against Norwich in the EFL Cup this month.
Conor Bradley caps for Northern Ireland
The Reds have another exciting 18-year-old in their ranks.
Teenager Conor Bradley already boasts three caps for Northern Ireland having come off the bench to face Switzerland this week, his third appearance for his country.
The youngster was signed from Dungannon United in 2019 and has since established himself as the go to right back for the U23s.
This summer when it was reported by The Athletic that Neco Williams could be on his way, it was Conor Bradley who was named as Trent’s new deputy.
First team debut
Earning three caps at Bradley’s young age is a massive achievement.
After all, he only turned 18-years-old in July.
Liverpool should reward Conor Bradley with a first team debut this month.
The Reds are set to face off against Norwich in the EFL Cup in a couple of weeks and we’ll be expecting a host of young faces.
