Swansea sign Rhys Williams on loan

The Reds decided to renew the contract of Nat Phillips this summer.

The Bolton Baresi was handed an extension after no suitable bids came in for him before the deadline.

As a result of the extension the Reds were able to send another promising youngster out.

Swansea signed Rhys Williams on loan on transfer deadline day.

The Swans are expected to use him regularly given they’ve taken just four points form their opening five games.

Experience in the second tier should do Williams the world of good.

He’ll be hoping to build on his promising performances for the Reds’ first team last term when he was thrown in at the deep end.
