Liverpool host Chelsea this weekend. Both sides have two wins from two, bringing matching records to Anfield for the early evening kick off. It is sure to be a game of fine margins with absentees and the atmosphere sure to make a difference. Here is the Chelsea injury news ahead of the Liverpool clash.

Liverpool v Chelsea
This is one of the biggest games in English football.
The two fan bases cannot stand each other with the divides running much deeper than just football.
During the Jose Mourinho v Rafael Benitez era we saw the two clubs face off regularly, seemingly drawn together in the cups every season.
This weekend sees two former Borussia Dortmund coaches facing off with both sides boasting 100% records from the opening two games.
It is a potential six pointer when it comes to the title race, one which Jürgen Klopp will be hoping to edge.
Chelsea injury news v Liverpool
The visitors are without two important first team stars.
Christian Pulisic will likely miss the game having tested positive for coronavirus ahead of the Blues clash with Arsenal.
The American, signed for £58m from Borussia Dortmund caused the Reds some real problems in a recent visit to Anfield.
Chelsea are also likely to be without Hakim Ziyech with the Moroccan playmaker having suffered a serious injury in the Super Cup win over Villareal.
What RTK has to say
It’s debatable whether Ziyech and Pulisic would’ve started if they were fit.
However, the pair would’ve been terrific options from the bench if not.
Nevertheless, it’s not as if the Reds have tremendous strength in depth in their attack either.
The two starting XIs could well decide this clash.
