Liverpool have been busy this summer offloading a number of fringe players. The Reds have plenty more players to cash in on before the window closes. According to Goal, Liverpool are looking for a buyer for Sheyi Ojo and will accept an offer of £5m.
Liverpool summer sales
This summer has seen Michael Edwards cash in on plenty of players.
A number of fringe stars have left either on loan or in permanent deals.
The past week has seen Ben Woodburn join Hearts on loan whilst Xherdan Shaqiri has left for Lyon.
Ben Davies has signed for Sheffield United for the season.
He is joined in the Championship by Harry Wilson who has signed for Fulham in a permanent deal.
Meanwhile, Marko Grujic has joined Porto after impressing the Portuguese side on loan last term.
In addition we’ve cashed in on Taiwo Awoniyi and Liam Millar who have joined Union Berlin and Basel respectively.
Liverpool looking for Sheyi Ojo buyer
We’ve still got a few more players to cash in on.
According to Goal, Liverpool are hoping to sell Sheyi Ojo.
The 24-year-old was once one of the Reds’ hottest prospects, he netted in front of the Kop as a teenager in 2016.
Since then he’s racked up over 150 senior appearances with loan spells including Wolves and Rangers, he spent last season at Cardiff City.
The Reds are allegedly looking for around £5m for the winger.
What RTK has to say
It’s a shame things didn’t work out for Sheyi Ojo.
We hope he gets a move before the end of the window, he deserves it.
This week he went out of his way to turn out for the U23s against Everton which is testament to his attitude.
He’s a good player but he isn’t up to the standard required for a title winning side.
