Liverpool have been hard at work tying key players down to new deals this summer. Whilst fans are a bit discouraged by the lack of incoming signings we can be made up with the flurry of new contracts signed. According to The Athletic, Liverpool have opened talks with Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson.

Important contract renewals
Liverpool have been hard at work keeping the squad together.
Whilst signings may be more exciting, it is important to make sure that we retain our best players for the best part of their careers.
For instance Virgil van Dijk has signed on until 2025, he isn’t even at his peak yet.
The same goes for Fabinho and Trent Alexander-Arnold who have penned extensions until 2026.
Meanwhile our Holy Goalie Alisson Becker has agreed a deal until 2027.
In addition Jordan Henderson is expected to pen a three year extension in the coming weeks.
Liverpool open talks with Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson
The Reds aren’t done yet when it comes to contract extensions.
The Athletic has reported that the club are working on a new deal for Mo Salah.
In addition the Reds are said to be in talks with Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson.
What RTK has to say
Handing Sadio Mane an extension is a massive statement about the future of the attack.
Given that the Reds are unlikely to renew the deals of the entire front three we can expect that Roberto Firmino will be the one to miss out.
Meanwhile, Robbo’s extension is well merited. The Scotland captain has plenty left in the tank, we expect him to be flying down the left flank for the best part of the next decade.
