Liverpool are short of numbers in the final third. Kopites have been begging for reinforcements but at the moment none have been brought in. According to Ian McGarry, Liverpool could sign Kylian Mbappe due to the player’s admiration for Jürgen Klopp.
Quality reinforcements needed
Liverpool play with a front three but we only have four players capable of filling in these roles.
Of course, these four players are of the absolute highest quality.
However, this means we’re just a couple of injuries away from a massive drop off in output.
This injury risk is also heightened by the lack of rotation options which forces Jürgen Klopp into running players into the ground.
We need to add high quality reinforcements to the squad in order to increase depth and competition.
Kylian Mbappe and Jürgen Klopp
For years Liverpool have been linked with a move for Kylian Mbappe.
This summer the Frenchman entered the final year of his deal.
As a result he can leave on a free transfer next summer and can negotiate this move from January.
Transfer guru Ian McGarry has claimed Liverpool could sign Kylian Mbappe due to the player’s admiration for Jürgen Klopp. The journalist told the Transfer Window Podcast:
“Of course, the wages will be substantial, but again, Mbappe is interested in making the move to Liverpool, something that Jurgen Klopp has a central role in, in regards to Mbappe’s respect and admiration for the German coach..
“It is information reported to us that Liverpool are pursuing and they believe they have an opportunity.”
What RTK has to say
Come on, just do it.
We’ve not had a shiny new toy in a while, go ‘ed.
Liverpool signing Mbappe would be the move of the century: one of the best players in the world on a free. Just imagine it.
Fingers crossed this one has legs, if he doesn’t go to Real Madrid this summer then we may stand a chance.
