There’s plenty to be excited about in the Liverpool academy at the moment.
The Reds not only have a number of local lads shining but also some imported from elsewhere.
For instance the ‘Scouse Torres’ Layton Stewart has been scoring silly amounts of goals whilst the ‘Polish Messi’ Mateusz Musialowski already has a Liverpool Goal of the Month to his name.
In addition January signing Kaide Gordon has been shining for the first team in pre-season despite being just 16-years-old.

The Reds have taken the decision to send one of their brightest midfielders out for the year.
Blackburn Rovers have signed Leighton Clarkson on loan from Liverpool.
The 19-year-old is a boyhood Rovers fan and has impressed players and coaches alike at Liverpool, earning himself the nickname ‘Phillip Lahm’.
