Liverpool are in need of reinforcements in the middle of the park. The Reds have been left shorthanded following Gini Wijnaldum’s departure. One man is repeatedly touted as a potential signing. According to reports in France, Liverpool could sign Renato Sanches for £34m.

Why we need a midfielder
The Reds relied on Gini Wijnaldum for five years.
The Dutchman rarely missed a missed a Premier League game during his time at Anfield.
This summer the midfielder left for PSG on a free transfer.
Aside from the loss of a leader in the dressing room we’ve also lost one of our most important and reliable midfielders.
The likes of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain can’t be relied upon to play the amount of minutes Gini was clocking.
We need to replace the Dutchman or we could be left in the lurch after a few injuries.
Liverpool could sign Renato Sanches
Michael Edwards could turn his attention to the French champions.
According to Mohamed Toubache-TER, as relayed by GFFN, Liverpool could sign Renato Sanches for around £34m.
The journalist has claimed that Lille are open to doing a deal.
This comes as no surprise due to the financial predicament that French clubs are in at the moment.
What RTK has to say
At just 23-years-old Liverpool signing Renato Sanches would make sense.
The Portugal midfielder would add a new dimension to the midfield and he is young enough to be moulded by the boss.
To be honest, Sanches or somebody else, we just need reinforcements.
We need to learn our lesson from last season when we sold Dejan Lovren without replacing him.
