Liverpool are looking to sell off their fringe players this summer. The Reds need to raise funds for incoming signings and we need to stay on top of our overseas players quota. According to the Liverpool ECHO we can’t find a buyer then Liverpool could end up freezing Loris Karius out this summer.

Players to be sold
The Reds have already moved on a number of players this summer.
Marko Grujic has been sold to Porto following a successful loan spell with the Portuguese side.
Meanwhile, Harry Wilson has joined Fulham in the Championship and he scored on the opening day of the season for the Cottagers.
Elsewhere Liam Millar was sold to Basel and Taiwo Awoniyi signed for Union Berlin.
Loris Karius could be frozen out
At the moment the Reds are one player above their overseas players quota.
The Liverpool ECHO has reported that if it comes to it then Liverpool will have to leave Loris Karius out of the registered squad.
The Reds are believed to be looking for a buyer for the German shot stopper but there’s not been much interest thus far.
As a result the goalkeeper is facing a season doing pretty much nothing.
If he isn’t registered for the Premier League squad he is unlikely to be used in the U23s as the club are more likely to want to give that starting berth to a promising youngster such as Marcelo Pitaluga.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool need to sell Loris Karius, it’s best for everybody.
He doesn’t need a season on the sidelines and we don’t need him on the books.
Hopefully he’s able to rectify his career somewhere, if he’s playing regularly then there’s still a good keeper in there somewhere.
We wish him the best, one bad night in Kiev appears to have ruined his career and nobody deserves that.
