Liverpool should offer Divock Origi to Southampton after Ings to Villa deal

Liverpool need to raise some transfer funds. Incoming signings are needed but we always sell before we buy. The Reds could capitalise on a recent Premier League transfer deal. Liverpool should offer Divock Origi to Southampton.

Funds needed

Liverpool need to sign a midfielder and a forward.

Gini Wijnaldum’s departure has left us short of reliability in the middle of the park.

Naby Keita has the quality but he doesn’t have the fitness to replace the Dutchman.

As a result a new addition is desperately needed.

Furthermore, there is a startling lack of depth and competition in the attacking line. A lethal striker coming in is a necessity.

However, we need money to finance these buys. More players need to be sold.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

Danny Ings to Aston Villa

This week saw a move come out of nowhere.

Danny Ings signed for Aston Villa without anybody knowing a deal was in the offing.

James Pearce has reported that the Reds will net 20% of any profit over the £20m that Southampton paid Liverpool for the striker.

The departure of Ings will be sorely felt by the Saints, he was a reliable performer for them last term.

Divock Origi to Southampton

Liverpool should use this opportunity wisely.

The Reds should offer Divock Origi to Southampton.

The Saints are in need of a striker and we’re in need of cash.

The Athletic has previously reported that the Reds want £20m for Divock Origi.

Now we know that Southampton likely have that kind of money to spend we should take advantage of the situation.

Hopefully Aston Villa have done us a favour in more ways than one by signing Danny Ings.
