The are plenty of potential transfers Liverpool could make right now. We have a look at three that make the most sense to us.
Liverpool are linked with a dozen players a day, it seems. They can’t possibly sign them all, of course, but many ideas look good on paper.
So we pick out three potential transfers Liverpool could make that make the most sense to us.
We’ll start with the most recent rumour. The Athletic claimed on Wednesday that Liverpool have an interest in Jarrod Bowen.
It’s a move that really seems sensible. Bowen is only 24, proven in the Premier League, and had a really good record last season with eight goals and five assists.
West Ham would reportedly want £35m for him and that might be a bargain. Bowen can cover several squad roles while his age leaves room for growth.
He could be the latest in a long line of successful Premier League signings.
Corriere della Sera claims Liverpool like the look of Domenico Berardi. And who could blame them?
The Sassuolo star scored 17 Serie A goals from the wing last season. It’s easy to see how Liverpool could utilise that as they gun for a title challenge.
Berardi could cost around £43m but honestly, that might be a wonderful deal. Liverpool would get a Euro 2020 winner who has consistently delivered in a top league.
Forward options of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Berardi? Yes, please.
Le10Sport in France has this one. They say Liverpool lead the way for Aouar and we think that’s very exciting.
Not least because this is apparently a player the Reds have wanted for six years now. Add in his price and things look even better.
The Telegraph had Aouar down as a £54m player a year ago. Now Lyon would accept as low as £17m. Liverpool will surely get involved for that.
We really like the look of Aouar and if he’s someone the Reds have tracked for years, he’s surely a sensible signing.
