Liverpool are currently sorting out their squad for not only the coming season but for the seasons afterwards as well. Michael Edwards is figuring out who stays, who goes and who gets a new deal. According to The Athletic, Liverpool could sell Roberto Firmino next summer.

Wages for the lads
This summer Liverpool are expected to offer out a number of new deals.
There is a host of players entering the final two years of their stay and as a result the club want to extend their contracts.
Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Mo Salah, Alisson and Fabinho are all expected to put pen to paper on extensions to keep them at the club during their prime years.
Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson will be offered new deals to reward them for their performances.
Liverpool could sell Roberto Firmino
One player not listed above is Bobby.
Liverpool signed Roberto Firmino back in 2015 for £29m.
Since then he’s become a modern day icon of the club, celebrated with his own song sung by Kopites far and wide.
The Athletic has reported that there’s a decision to be made over his future.
The club allegedly can’t give new deals to the entire front three and it could be Bobby who misses out.
As a result we reportedly could see Roberto Firmino sold by Liverpool next summer.
Leaving In 2022 would see the Brazilian end a seven year stay at Anfield.
What RTK has to say
This makes sense.
It’s time to start the regeneration of the attacking line.
Liverpool selling Roberto Firmino this summer or next is in everybody’s interest.
He has been a fantastic servant to the club but we need to upgrade, we need an out and out finisher.
Bobby is too good to be sat on the bench at Anfield, he still has a few years left in him. He could dominate in the Italian Serie A.
