Liverpool fans are anxiously awaiting new signings. The Reds are in need of reinforcements but player sales need to happen first. Twitter has reacted to news that Liverpool have agreed to sell Taiwo Awoniyi to Union Berlin.

Potential player sales
There is a number of players expected to leave the club this summer.
Nat Phillips and Neco Williams could depart in search of first team football.
Meanwhile, Xherdan Shaqiri is expected to be moved on for similar reasons.
Harry Wilson’s time with the club appears to be over with the Welshman believed to be up for sale following a string of loan moves.
These sales will help fund some much needed signings.
Jürgen Klopp needs a striker to come in to cover and compete with Roberto Firmino.
In addition we need a midfielder to arrive to replace Gini Wijnaldum.
Taiwo Awoniyi to join Union Berlin
23-year-old Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi is set to move to Union Berlin.
The striker hasn’t played a single game for the Reds due to work permit issues.
He spent last season on loan with the German side, scoring five goals.
The Reds have agreed a £6.5m fee with the Berlin outfit with a medical set to take place today.
Twitter reaction
Plenty of fans are impressed with the fee we’ve raked in for the striker.
Whilst other supporters are gutted we never got to see him play for the Reds.
