Some Liverpool fans just love what Mohamed Salah was caught doing in pre-season. The Egyptian showed off an ‘elite’ mentality.
Liverpool put up a Twitter video on Friday, highlighting just how well Joel Matip is playing in training right now. But the pre-season video caught fans’ attention for another reason – Mohamed Salah.
Matip scores a brilliant solo goal in a training game to start the video but as the camera pans to his celebration, Salah is caught on shot. And he is not happy.
The Egyptian appears quite frustrated at his team conceding – despite it being a training match in pre-season.
Fans made sure to mention how much they loved seeing that in the replies.
I love how much Mo hates conceding even in training!

Look at Salah’s frustration. It’s a training session in preseason and he does not want to lose. This elite mentality is why he is one of the best in the world

Mo isn't happy losing. Game over for all PL teams next season

Loves how competitive is Salah even during training.. he hates losing and is fuming. That’s the mentality of all greats. I think that’s what sets him apart.

What a mentality
Fans love Salah for pre-season mentality
It’s hard not to love Salah’s mentality here. He genuinely looks furious for conceding a goal that didn’t actually mean anything. He’s someone who wants to win.

And that’s a huge part of what’s made him so successful. Salah gets stick for being a little selfish sometimes but there’s no doubting that winning is what he craves above all.
Just go and watch his reaction to Alisson’s winner last season to see that – he looks like the happiest man in the world.
And fortunately for Salah, he’s done an awful lot of winning with Liverpool. Hopefully, with the team finally back together, he can do some more next season.
