Liverpool had a torrid time with injuries last season. Jürgen Klopp was forced to make do for a majority of the campaign with players dropping like flies. The Reds have already addressed the main problem area. Some Liverpool fans have reacted to reports that Ozan Kabak has been offered to the club for £8.5m.
Last season’s Liverpool injury crisis
Last season was one to forget for Kopites.
In October we lost Virgil van Dijk for the season and Joe Gomez was ruled out for the campaign not long afterwards.
Joel Matip was in and out of the side until he too was injured for the duration in January.
The Reds moved for Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies in the winter window to plug the gaps.
At the end of the season the club decided not to activate the £18m option to sign the Turkish defender permanently, instead bringing in Ibrahima Konate.
Liverpool offered Ozan Kabak
Schalke are in dire straits at the moment.
The cash strapped German side have been relegated from the Bundesliga and it’s all looking doom and gloom for them.
According to The Athletic, they are so desperate that they’ve offered Liverpool the chance to sign Ozan Kabak for just £8.5m.
However, the Reds have turned down the opportunity.
Jürgen Klopp is said to be well stocked and satisfied when it comes to his centre backs.
Fans are puzzled by the decision due to the injury record at the club with someone feeling we should sign him just to profit on him in the future.
