Liverpool are going to sell before they buy this summer, just like every other summer. The Reds have been linked with a number of midfielders and strikers but we can’t move until funds are raised. According to a club insider, Nat Phillips is very much in demand.

The Rise and Rise of Nat Phillips
Liverpool endured an horrific season last term.
The Reds lost every senior centre back to injury and had to turn to the reserves for bodies.
Nat Phillips was called into the first team fold just a few weeks after being on the verge of leaving for Swansea.
The Lancashire lad went on to be the saviour of our season.
He earned the nickname ‘the Bolton Baresi’ for his titanic performances at the back.
He headed absolutely everything and without him we’d have failed to secure a top four finish.
Nat Phillips in demand
This summer could see the Bolton Baresi sold.
Now that he has tasted first team football he is likely to want to move somewhere where he can play regularly again.
He certainly won’t be short of suitors, an insider at Liverpool explained to The Athletic:
“Nat is very much in demand, which is understandable.
“We’d be reluctant sellers, given how well he did last season and how much everyone loves him, so it would have to be right for Nat too.”
What RTK has to say
It’ll be a sad day when Nat Phillips leaves Liverpool but he deserves the move.
He saved us in our time of need, we can’t ask him to drop back to fifth or sixth choice next term.
A player of his quality needs to be starting every week in the top flight.
Burnley appears to be the ideal destination for a man of his skillset.
