Liverpool are believed to be on the lookout for a forward this summer. The Reds are short of quality in depth in the final third and this needs to be resolved before the start of the next season. Liverpool have been linked with a move for Adama Traore, his signing would make the Reds a scary prospect according to Noel Whelan.
Liverpool and Adama Traore
This is another one of those rumours which crops up every window.
Sport are one of a number of outlets to have previously reported on Liverpool interest in Adama Traore.
The Reds’ interest would make sense, Jürgen Klopp is clearly an admirer having previously described him as ‘undefendable’.
The electric winger could well be on the move this summer with The Transfer Window Podcast having claimed that he is one of a number of players Wolves could cash in on.
Noel Whelan on Adama Traore
The Reds have been linked with the Spaniard for ages now.
If he were to be united with Jürgen Klopp then it could be an exciting prospect, at least that’s what ex-pro Noel Whelan believes, he told Football Insider:
“I think £25-30million is about right for that sort of player…
“Jurgen Klopp obviously sees someone there he can improve and make more potent.
“With an addition of someone like that to the forward line they already have, pretty scary.”
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Adama Traore would be a dream.
I am a firm believer that he will realise his almighty potential one day.
If there is any coach in the world who can fully unleash him then it is Jürgen Klopp.
If he is indeed available for £25m then this should be a no-brainer for the Reds.
