Liverpool need to sign a centre midfielder this summer. The departure of Gini Wijnaldum has left a gaping hole in the middle of the park. Kopites are desperate to see an ambitious signing come in to fill the gap. An ex-Red has said he sees Liverpool signing Youri Tielemans this summer.
Hole in the middle
Gini Wijnaldum has left Liverpool. We all need time to mourn.
The Dutchman was a nigh on ever present during his time with the Reds.
He rarely missed a Premier League game during his five-year stint at Anfield.
Whilst he arrived an attacking midfielder he left as a box-to-box dynamo adept at winning the ball and keeping it.

Due to the extraordinary amount of minutes he clocked during his time with the Reds signing a replacement seems to be an absolute necessity.
Liverpool could sign Youri Tielemans
One Belgian in particular is consistently touted as the solution in the middle of the park.
Het Nieuwsblad claimed some weeks ago that Liverpool have shortlisted Youri Tielemans.
Since then Sven Claes has reported that the midfielder could be available for £55m.
Ex-Red Paul Stewart thinks the deal will happen, he told This is Futbol:
“I think he’s quality. I know that his stock has gone up since the cup final goal, but I think he’s been quality all season and I can see him being at Liverpool before the start of next season.”
What RTK has to say
We wish we shared his optimism.
Youri Tielemans is a fantastic midfielder and ideal for Jürgen Klopp’s side.
However, the Reds don’t have the money to take him away from the Foxes.
They’d demand a sky high fee and FSG aren’t interested in such deals.
