Who is Ryan Gravenberch?

19-year-old midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is an undroppable member of the Ajax lineup.

The teenager has established himself a star for both club and country in recent seasons.

A centre midfielder with a keen dribbling ability and an eye for a pass, the teenager stands out for his technical prowess.

Ex-Ajax youth coach Brian Tevreden described Gravenberch to Goal, saying:

“Technically, I would say he’s a better version of Pogba in his best days at Juventus, in terms of his technique and his presence on the pitch.

“He’s very dominant like Pogba was, and that’s what I see in Ryan.”

Liverpool want Ryan Gravenberch

Naturally there is plenty of interest in the teenager.

According to Goal, Liverpool are keen on Ryan Gravenberch.

The youngster allegedly has his admirers on the Reds’ recruitment team.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Ajax would demand £30m for Ryan Gravenberch.

What RTK has to say

Yes please.

There’s no doubting that Ryan Gravenberch is set to be one of the brightest midfielders of his generation.

Liverpool signing him now would not only fill the void left by his countryman Gini Wijnaldum but we’d also be signing a future star at a snip.

If he is indeed available for just £30m then Liverpool shouldn’t be thinking twice about this one.
