Liverpool need to sign a forward this summer. The Reds are in need of quality in depth, signing competition is an absolute must ahead of next season. Twitter has reacted to reports that Liverpool could move for Kingsley Coman.
Forward signing needed
At the moment there is no quality in depth up top.
Diogo Jota was signed to shake things up but he’s ended up starting alongside the front three when he isn’t injured.
From January onwards we saw a dramatic drop off in output from the front three.
The need for competition and depth has become obvious as a result, the front three looked knackered and figured out in the second half of last season.
We need fresh blood to spark the attack into life again.
Liverpool linked with Kingsley Coman
It seems as if hundreds of forwards are being linked with the Reds.
When Michael Edwards is out shopping the gossip pages get filled very quickly.
According to Sport1’s Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool hold an interest in Kingsley Coman.
The journalist has claimed that the Reds have made contact with the player’s management but the move isn’t a ‘hot topic’ yet.
Meanwhile, Gazzetta Dello Sport has said that Liverpool have had a £30m bid rejected by Bayern Munich.
There are obvious concerns with the Frenchman’s patchy injury record.
Furthermore, plenty of Kopites have been expecting a striker to arrive as opposed to a winger.
However, we trust Michael Edwards implicitly, if he’s convinced then so are we.
Twitter reacts to rumour
Fans are excited yet some are worried by the 25-year-old’s injury history.
