Liverpool fans have demanded that the club sign Renato Sanches after another top performance at Euro 2020.
The club are seemingly on the lookout for a Gini Wijnaldum replacement with Goal reporting that Sanches is an option.
He was Portugal’s outstanding player in their last 16 clash against Belgium tonight.
Belgium 1-0 Portugal
Sanches’ Portugal were up against Belgium in what many had picked as the tie of the round.
The majority of the first half failed to live up to the hype.

It was a rather slow, even game with few chances at either end.
Thorgan Hazard eventually sparked life into the game with a fantastic goal from range in the 42nd minute.
The Belgian wingback struck a ferocious, curling effort past Rui Patricio in the Portugal goal to send his side into the break 1-0 up.
The second half had a little more needle in it, even if chances were still at a premium.
Tackles were flying in, with Pepe and Romelu Lukaku getting involved in a few incidents.
As expected, Portugal had more of the ball as they chased an equaliser.
The excitement picked up in the last ten minutes. Thibaut Courtois saved a close-range Andre Silva header, while Rafa Guerreiro hit the post.
However, they could not find a way back into the game.
The reigning champions crashed out of the tournament.
Sanches a sensation in midfield
Renato Sanches was probably the most eye-catching player on the field.
He went on numerous powerful runs through the middle that were frankly incredible to watch.
He attempted six dribbles in total, three of which were successful.
His long passing was exceptional, as he completed six out of seven long balls.
This contributed to his impressive 93% success rate.
Sanches was well-positioned defensively, even though he didn’t make any tackles. He did make one very impressive interception, however.
He tired near the end and was replaced with ten minutes to go.
He brings an incredible amount of dynamism to midfield and his ball progressing skills are top-notch.
Tonight was another prime example of that.
