Liverpool will cash in on some fringe players this summer. The Reds need to raise funds and player sales is the best way to do that. Interest is mounting in a cult hero. Some Liverpool fans are furious that Nat Phillips will be sold this summer if the price is right.

Nat Phillips saviour
Last season the Reds saw an unprecedented injury crisis.
Jürgen Klopp lost every one of his senior centre backs to injury.
As a result the boss had to turn to the backup brigade.
Rhys Williams was called up, Fabinho was dropped into the back four.
However, it was Nat Phillips who became saviour of the season.
The Bolton Baresi finished the campaign with 17 appearances in the Premier League and he thoroughly impressed during these displays.
The 24-year-old went from being practically out of the door to saving the Reds’ season.
Liverpool open to selling Nat Phillips
This summer will inevitably see interest in the centre back.
According to The Athletic Liverpool are open to selling Nat Phillips.
This is because he has once again fallen down the pecking order due to the returns of Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.
Furthermore there has been the signing of Ibrahima Konate.
As a result the Bolton Baresi is unlikely to get much first team action and the Reds are willing to let him pursue regular minutes.
Liverpool are reportedly open to bids of £15m for the cult hero.
