Liverpool are in the market for a striker this summer. There’s one man who has topped every Kopite’s wishlist for years now. According to a report by The Express, Spurs selling Harry Kane could trigger Liverpool signing Kylian Mbappe.

Spurs and Harry Kane
Last summer Harry Kane agreed to stay at Spurs for one more year.
The talismanic striker has been outperforming his club for some time.
As a result he has told Spurs that he wants to leave this summer.
This is because he wants to compete for the sport’s top prizes and he appears unable to do that in North London.
It is easy to understand the player’s feelings, particularly when you consider the debacle surrounding Spurs appointing a new manager.
Manchester City are thought to be the front runners for the striker’s signature.
This week the Citizens submitted a £100m bid for the 27-year-old forward.
Harry Kane, Liverpool and Kylian Mbappe
Man City aren’t the only club looking at signing the striker.
According to The Express, PSG are also sniffing around the England hitman.
The outlet has claimed that Mauricio Pochettino wants to reunite with the forward and PSG are one of a few clubs capable of meeting Daniel Levy’s £150m asking price.
The report goes on to claim that should the Parisians land Kane then it would open the door for Liverpool to sign Kylian Mbappe.
This is because the Frenchman – who netted 42 goals in all competitions for his club last season – has just a year remaining on his deal and if he refuses an extension then PSG will have to do a deal or risk losing him on a free transfer.
What RTK has to say
If Liverpool ever sign Kylian Mbappe the stars would have to align.
It would take something big like Harry Kane moving.
Furthermore, we’d need to free up a big chunk of the wage budget.
It is unlikely to happen but a Kopite can dream.
