Potential Liverpool loans

There is a number of academy stars who could be sent out on loan this summer.

The Reds have a host of players who could do with first team experience to aid their development.

Sepp van den Berg is expected to make another temporary switch following the success of his spell at Preston North End.

Meanwhile Harvey Elliott could be given a Premier League loan after standing out for Blackburn Rovers.

Leighton Clarkson wanted by Blackburn Rovers

Last season Liverpool sent Harvey Elliott to Ewood Park and the winger had a tremendous season.

He netted seven goals and bagged 11 assists for the Championship side, well exceeding expectations.

The second tier outfit are reportedly keen on furthering the blossoming relationship with the Reds.

According to the Lancashire Telegraph Leighton Clarkson is wanted by Blackburn Rovers.

The outlet has claimed that the Rovers have already made an enquiry about the youngster’s availability.

What RTK has to say

Leighton Clarkson would benefit from a loan move.

The 19-year-old has buckets of potential but he won’t get a game at Anfield any time soon.

He has turned out in the Champions League before, against FC Midtjylland.

The appearance was a massive show of faith from the gaffer, fingers crossed he lives up to the hype eventually.
