Liverpool are in the market for a midfielder this summer. The Reds have lost a key member of the squad and we’ll need to replace him urgently. Liverpool have reportedly made contact with Florian Neuhaus. Fans have been raving over him on Twitter.

Who is Florian Neuhaus?
24-year-old Florian Neuhaus plays as a centre midfielder for Borussia Monchengladbach.
The German came through the youth ranks at 1860 Munich and impressed in the nation’s second tier, prompting Monchengladbach to snap him up in 2017.
He was immediately loaned to Fortuna Dusseldorf, continuing to impress in the 2 Bundesliga.
Since then he’s established himself as an undroppable member of the Gladbach midfield.
Last season he netted six and assisted five across 33 appearances, starting most games as a holding midfielder.
Liverpool contact Florian Neuhaus
This past week has seen speculation around the midfielder intensifying.
Liverpool have reportedly contacted Florian Neuhaus and his camp.
Sky Germany has reported that there has definitely been ‘an exchange’ between the parties.
Furthermore, Patrick Berger has said the Reds are interested despite the midfielder’s release clause having expired.
AS in Spain has claimed that ‘everything indicates’ that Liverpool will sign Neuhaus ahead of competition from Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Juventus.
The Spanish outlet has cited a possible fee of €40m (around £34m).
His signing is urgently needed with the Reds having to find a successor to Gini Wijnaldum.
The ever-present Dutchman is joining PSG on a free transfer this summer.
