Liverpool need to sign a striker this summer. The Reds are in dire need of goals up top after a feeble campaign in front of goal. Our rivals are already working on their recruitment; Liverpool could regret Odsonne Edouard signing for Leicester City for such a low fee; he’s reportedly in talks with the Foxes.

Liverpool need a striker

You don’t usually see a front three stick together for four years.

The Reds’ attacking trio have managed to stay together for so long because not only have they enjoyed great success but they were all born within nine months of each other.

This means that they’re all hitting their peak at the same time as opposed to one getting on whilst another is just blossoming.

This term exposed the need for revolution up top: we were dreadful in front of goal from January onwards, showing just how much we’re missing an out and out number nine.

Odsonne Edouard joining Leicester City

This summer should be a busy one throughout the Premier League.

Last year plenty of clubs were curtailed by the pandemic.

According to Sky Sports, Odsonne Edouard is in talks with Leicester City.

The Foxes will allegedly pay as little as £18m for the 23-year-old French striker.

Liverpool could regret Odsonne Edouard miss

This season saw the forward net 16 goals in 26 appearances.

Last term he fired in 21 goals in 27 league outings.

At just 23-years-old these are pretty impressive figures.

Liverpool could live to regret letting Odsonne Edouard slip them by at such a bargain price.

We’re desperate for a striker and he fits the bill.
