Liverpool need to shift on plenty of players this summer. The Reds always sell to buy and this summer there’s plenty of players to buy. The Euros should give Liverpool a transfer boost as it puts some of our fringe stars in the shop window.
Liverpool transfer priorities
We need to revamp the core of the side, the spine of the team.
This means a new centre back, a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum and a lethal finisher.
We’ve already added a centre back in Ibrahima Konate and now we need to set about the midfield and attack.
The right signings won’t come cheap, the Reds have been tipped to move for Youri Tielemans at Leicester City and have also been linked with the likes of Jadon Sancho and Raphinha.

Euro 2020 shop window
Liverpool will be looking to sell Harry Wilson and Xherdan Shaqiri this summer.
The pair aren’t at the required standard and will be looking for first team football, furthermore their sales would raise much needed funds.
The Euros could benefit Michael Edwards in this regard.
International tournaments are notoriously used as shop windows with players raising their profile and enticing potential buyers.
Xherdan Shaqiri is likely to be pivotal to Switzerland’s campaign and given the lack of game time he’s had at Liverpool recently he will be able to show the world what he can do.
Meanwhile, Harry Wilson can show that he can do it on the big stage having impressed in the Championship with Cardiff City.
The duo performing well this summer could well net Michael Edwards a tidy sum to spend on incoming signings.
