Liverpool are heading into one of their most important transfer windows for some time. We had a tough season and signings are needed to remedy the situation. A remarkable transfer could be on the cards with Barcelona reportedly offering Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool.
Summer transfer priorities
Liverpool’s biggest problem to address this summer was signing a centre back.
The Reds had their title defence derailed by a tragic sequence of injuries at the back.
We will also be losing Gini Wijnaldum over the summer and signing a replacement for the Dutchman needs to be a priority.
Finally adding quality to the depth of the front line has also become an important task.

Barcelona offer Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool
This summer is going to be bonkers and we’ve already got a pretty mad story to prove it.
AS in Spain has reported that Barcelona have offered Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool.
The report has claimed that the Catalan club still owe Liverpool another £50m from the £142m deal which saw him head to Spain in 2018.
According to AS, Barcelona have told Liverpool they can have Philippe Coutinho in exchange for cancelling their £50m debt.
What RTK has to say
This would divide the fan base.
Philippe Coutinho is still just 28-years-old and his natural ability is undeniable.
However, the manner in which he forced a move out has left a sour taste with many supporters.
Personally, I’d take him back in a heartbeat. He’s too good to turn down.
