Report: Liverpool linked winger has price slashed from £33m to £13m; could entice Edwards

Liverpool are looking to reinforce the front line this summer. Jürgen Klopp needs greater strength in depth up top and the transfer market is the way to go about it. Liverpool were linked with Milot Rashica in the past; he’s allegedly had his price tag slashed.

Strength in depth

At the moment the front three are only backed up by Diogo Jota.

Even then, we have lined up with all four of them on occasion.

Jürgen Klopp needs to add some strength in depth to his front line.

As it stands we can’t afford to rest any of our key forwards because the drop off in quality is too great.

The likes of Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri can’t step in and stand out.

This season showed just what happens when you run the front three into the ground.

We need to address this issue before the start of next season.

Liverpool linked Milot Rashica price slashed

Last year Bild linked Liverpool with a move Milot Rashica.

The Kosovan winger had been impressing for Werder Bremen and was allegedly catching the eye of sides across Europe.

Christian Falk had claimed that the winger has a release clause of €38m (around £33m).

It appears that Bremen may well see their winger depart this summer.

According to Ronan Murphy his release clause has been slashed to just €15m (£15m).

What RTK has to say

Liverpool signing Milot Rashica makes sense in terms of the finances involved and the age of the player; this discount could entice Michael Edwards.

However, plenty of Kopites are hoping for a more ambitious signing.

We need an elite attacker to come in and shake up the status quo, to spark some life into the attack.

Given that Rashica only netted three goals this season we can’t see him being that man.
