Deadwood to be sold

This summer we need to raise funds for a bench rebuild.

At the moment we don’t have enough quality in depth and changing that will take selling a host of players.

Divock Origi is expected to be moved on with a promising young striker to come in to replace him and challenge Roberto Firmino.

Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic are also tipped for moves.

Whilst Xherdan Shaqiri is also expected to leave as he pushes for more first team action.

There should be plenty of interest in the Reds’ Swiss winger.

He has two Champions League winners’ medals to his name, he shouldn’t be stuck on the bench.

According to Fotomac in Turkey, Xherdan Shaqiri is wanted by Fenerbahce.

The Swiss international is said to be looking for €3m (£2.5m) a year in wages, though the Turkish side are said to be falling short of being able to offer him the full amount.

What RTK has to say

Liverpool selling Shaq appears to be inevitable.

The Swiss international needs regular first team football, he hasn’t been able to get that at Anfield.

We will have fond memories of the diminutive winger; he played a big part against Barcelona.

All the best, Shaq.
