Liverpool are going to be moving on a number of players this summer. The Reds need to raise some funds to rebuild the bench and as a result we can expect plenty of deadwood to be shifted on. According to Goal, Liverpool are willing to sell Taiwo Awoniyi for £8m.

Clearout needed
There are a number of key, decisive signings needed this summer and these signings will need to be funded from somewhere.
The Reds don’t like to record big net spends and as a result we expect the club to sell off a host of players.
The bench needs to be revamped, we can’t match Manchester City for quality in depth.
Divock Origi and Marko Grujic are just two of a number of players we can expect to be moved on.
Liverpool to sell Taiwo Awoniyi
This summer could see the exit of a striker yet to make a competitive appearance for the Reds.
Liverpool are rumoured to be open to selling Taiwo Awoniyi.
The Nigerian forward joined the Reds in 2015 and has been sent on a series of loans since.
This is because he wasn’t granted a work permit for the UK, meaning the Reds couldn’t play him in competitive matches.
He spent this season on loan with Union Berlin and impressed in bursts.
The 23-year-old has now been granted a UK work permit and the club are allegedly willing to accept offers of £8m according to Goal.
Fulham and West Brom are said to be interested in the player’s services.
What RTK has to say
It’ll be good to see Taiwo finally find a settled home.
He has talent and potential but he isn’t of first team quality for the Reds.
Hopefully he gets his move this summer, £8m would be a pretty decent fee to rake in.
