Liverpool need to sign a striker this summer, no two ways about it. The Reds have been wasteful in front of goal and we need a lethal finisher to come in and resolve the issue. Liverpool hopes of landing Kylian Mbappe could be boosted by reports that Zinedine Zidane is set to be replaced this summer.

Liverpool need a striker

It’s no secret that the Reds haven’t been at their best on the front foot of late.

We’ve got to the point where we need Alisson Becker to score the winner.

Jürgen Klopp is in dire need of a striker to come in and mop up the chances which are going wasted at the minute.

The front three have been terrifying defences for four years now, it’s time for a change.

Real Madrid eye Allegri to replace Zidane

This summer will be a transitional one not just for the Reds attack but also for hierarchies abroad.

According to Marca in Spain, Real Madrid want Massimiliano Allegri to replace Zinedine Zidane in the summer.

The outlet has previously reported that the gaffer has already told the dressing room that he’s leaving the club.

Liverpool boost in Kylian Mbappe race

Real Madrid and Liverpool both want Kylian Mbappe, understandable given his 26 goals in Ligue 1 this season.

The two sides’ interest is well documented; Duncan Castles recently claimed that Mbappe would prefer a move to Liverpool if he makes the switch to England.

The Reds may have been dealt a boost in their pursuit of the striker if Zidane is indeed set to leave Madrid.

One of the biggest pulls for Mbappe is surely the presence of Zizou at the helm.

The gaffer is an icon in France, if he leaves Madrid then Mbappe may not be as enticed by the Spanish giants, handing Liverpool the advantage.
