Liverpool haven’t had much joy this season. The Reds have been in torrid form in the past few months, meaning we’re in for a trophyless season. We could still have success with the academy, however. Kopites have been praising Mateusz Musialowski after his goal against Ipswich Town in the FA Youth Cup semi final.
Who is Mateusz Musialowski?
17-year-old winger Mateusz Musialowski joined Liverpool from SMS Lodz last summer.
The winger has been one of the leading lights of Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s U18s side this term.
He has been in fine form throughout the campaign, particularly impressing in recent months.
The teenager has already bagged himself a Liverpool goal of the month award, taking March’s award for a stunning solo strike against Newcastle United.
All in all he has 12 goals in 24 appearances this term.

The youngsters went a goal down just before halftime due to a goalkeeping error.
Parity was restored with half an hour remaining when Mateusz Musialowski equalised against Ipswich Town.
The Polish winger showcased some clever feet on the edge of the box before his shot was deflected past a helpless keeper.
