This week Virgil van Dijk confirmed he won’t be going to the Euros, Kopites are delighted.

The game ended 2-2 and Van Dijk was ruled out for the season with a ruptured ACL.
Virgil van Dijk on Euros
The centre back was ruled out for the season yet there has always been question marks about the summer.
We’ve seen plenty of footage of the defender working with a ball and running around and working in the gym – it’s been boss.
Fans have been concerned about his plans for the end of the season.
This week Virgil van Dijk confirmed he won’t be going to the Euros with the Netherlands. The move could define our 2021/22 season if he remains fit for the coming campaign as a result.
The number four told the club’s official site:
“I have come to a decision that I had to make: would I be involved in the Euros, yes or no? With everything that is going on, I feel physically it is the right decision that I’ve decided not to go to the Euros and to go into my last phase of rehab during the off-season.
“So, the full focus will be on pre-season with the club and that’s a realistic goal, so I am looking forward to that.”
