Liverpool are heading to Manchester United tonight with the odds stacked against them and a win essential for the side’s hopes for next season. There’s been plenty of speculation around the defence. Fans are divided about Jürgen Klopp hinting that Rhys Williams will start at centre back.

Ozan Kabak injury
This season the Reds have been woefully unlucky with injuries at centre back.
Liverpool signed Ozan Kabak on loan to plug the gap left by fitness issues.
Unfortunately the Turkish centre back has picked up an injury of his own.
The youngster has picked up a minor problem which is set to keep him out of the trip to Manchester United, as it kept him out of the visit from Southampton last weekend.
Jürgen Klopp confident in Rhys Williams
There has been plenty of speculation around who will replace Kabak at Old Trafford.
Against Southampton Jürgen Klopp called up Rhys Williams to partner Nat Phillips.
The pair kept a clean sheet as the Reds limped to a 2-0 victory at Anfield.
In a pre-match press conference ahead of the trip to Manchester United, the boss was asked if he is confident in the pairing of Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams.
Jürgen Klopp simply replied: ‘yep.’
Twitter reacts to selection hint
The move would mean free up Fabinho to start in the midfield.
Given the success we’ve had since the Brazilian has been reinstalled to his rightful role, this is the option prefered by plenty of Kopites.
However, some aren’t as confident in Williams as the boss is.
