Liverpool have some special talents in the academy. The Reds have been steadily recruiting some of the best and brightest youngsters in Europe in recent seasons and plenty are making good progress. Liverpool fans have been raving about Kaide Gordon after he netted on his U23s debut.

In January the Reds brought in a trio of youngsters.
Defender Stefan Bajcetic was signed from Spanish side Celta Vigo.
Utility man Calum Scanlon was brought in from Birmingham City.
The most high profile move was Liverpool signing Kaide Gordon from Derby County.
The 16-year-old joined from the Rams shortly after making his first team debut in the Championship.
Gordon arrived with a burgeoning reputation with Wayne Rooney declaring him the best 16-year-old in the country.

This week the U23s took on Leicester City for their final Premier League 2 game of the season.
The scoring was opened by Ben Woodburn, the youngster finishing smartly just before the hour mark.
20 minutes from time Kaide Gordon came on for his Liverpool U23s debut.
The youngster marked the occasion in style, seizing on a Fidel O’Rourke assist to open his account for the second string side.
His goal has sparked much excitement in the Reds’ fan base with plenty of fans wondering what the future has in store.
We think that he could well feature in the cups next season if he’s going to be promoted to the U23s for the forthcoming campaign.
