Struggle of a season

The Reds were tipped to fight to the end to defend their title this term.

At the start of the season it looked as though they’d do just that, we started brightly.

However, an unprecedented injury crisis unfolded which devastated the Reds’ title hopes.

Despite battling to top spot for Christmas the crisis really began to take its toll in the New Year.

With no fans there to squeeze that extra bit of energy out of the lads we’ve fallen flat and slid down the table.

Liverpool fans return to Anfield

The global health crisis has impacted our lives to an unimaginable degree in the past year.

Thankfully we are returning to some semblance of normality.

The local council has approved plans for Liverpool to welcome fans back to Anfield for the final game of the season.

The Reds will play in front of 10,000 home supporters as we take on Crystal Palace.

This will be the first time fans have been in the ground since December.

What RTK has to say

Given that we need to win everyone of our remaining games this could make a huge difference.

Liverpool having fans at Anfield when they take on Palace could spur the lads on to get the job done.

We’ve missed the impact the fans can have, we’re getting them back at the right time.

Fans are clearly delighted, particularly because we’re allowed more fans in than Everton.
